Professional services prospect research for partnership teams

Find complementary businesses and map a potential partnership.

The demo is fictional and read-only. Signing up does not itself grant paid access.

A specific starting hypothesis

Map a referral relationship between complementary professional practices. Check public specialisms and delivery regions, then identify the person responsible for business development or the relevant practice. Shared client types do not prove that a referral arrangement is appropriate. Ask about conflicts, independence requirements and the handoff process before suggesting cooperation, and never treat public client references as transferable customer leads.

Qualify service specialism and delivery model

Read service pages, team biographies and attributable case descriptions to identify the firm's actual practice areas. A broad advisory label is not enough to establish a match. Distinguish independent practices from branches of a larger group. Record sector expertise only where supported, and avoid treating a logo wall as proof of a current client relationship.

Who to research

Research practice leads, managing partners, business development or operations. Partnership titles can describe ownership rather than responsibility for a specific service line, so check the individual's professional biography.

Exclude or hold for review

Exclude unrelated practice areas and firms whose territory or delivery language cannot support the proposed service. Do not collect private client or case information.

A review workflow for partnership teams

Distinguish a potential reseller, integration partner or referral partner from an end customer. Look for a complementary offer and a compatible service area, then identify the professional function responsible for alliances. Record possible conflicts such as competing products or exclusive agreements as questions to resolve, not facts inferred from silence.

The useful output

A partner shortlist explaining the joint customer problem, complementary capabilities, relevant business function and due-diligence questions for a first conversation.

Evidence to keep with the brief

  • Official company identity and domain, actual products or services, location and a source date.
  • A named professional, current title and evidence linking that person to the correct company.
  • Any business email's source, verification method, status and checked-at time. A generic inbox is not a named person's email; catch-all and unknown results remain unresolved.
  • Size and traffic only when sourced. Leave unavailable values unknown; do not use website appearance or search position as a traffic estimate.

These are evaluation criteria, not claims that every field is present in LeadHunt. The fictional demo cannot prove a segment's size, mailbox quality or commercial results.

Questions before you start

How should partnership teams qualify professional services accounts?

Qualify service specialism and delivery model. A partner shortlist explaining the joint customer problem, complementary capabilities, relevant business function and due-diligence questions for a first conversation.

Does this page contain available professional services contacts?

No. This is a research brief, not a live list or a coverage guarantee. Inspect actual company, person and verification evidence in your account before deciding whether a record is usable.

Does a public business address mean I can start outreach?

Public research is not permission to contact someone. Review the source, professional association, current verification result and your outreach requirements. The demo never sends messages.
